USP&E Supplies Fire Protection 02/23/2009

USP&E has won an order to supply a fire protection system, comprising an engine, pump, and control unit, to an overseas client in record time. While systems take six-to-eight weeks to spec and build before ready for shipment, USP&E was able to go from an initial RFQ to airfreight in under two weeks!

USP&E Wins Contract with FEMA 09/24/2008

The people of Houston and Galveston, Texas, will not soon forget the rampage that was hurricane Ike in September 2008. And one thing is for certain: when things got out of hand, USP&E was there to make sure the people at the State of Texas and FEMA had the power they needed!

As Ike made landfall and the devastation began, USP&E was immediately awarded the rental contract for emergency backup generators for the shelters, modular offices, tents and other temporary buildings FEMA is known for utilizing during major national disasters. In addition to our many late night trips to Galveston, USP&E received over 500 phone calls and emails per day for nearly 2 weeks, shattering all previous new business development records and signing on new clients such as Liz Claiborne, Turtle and Hughes, Shell Oil, Dupont, Houston Oil Drilling, Haliburton, Crawford Electric, Lakeside Church, Deli Express, Cisco Foods, Federal Teachers Credit Union, Southwestern Regional Hospital, UPS , Unifirst, Sierra Nevada Ltd and others.
